Wonderful Grape Crush Aster Fall Blooming Perennial Garden Plant

Also known as Fall Asters, these are terrific favorites for autumn color in the perennial border. Plants form bushy mounds, bearing loads of small daisy flowers. This is a compact selection with single, deep violet-purple flowers with bright yellow centers. Blooms in late summer into fall. Easy to grow with good disease resistance. Compact growing habit when grown in full sun.Pinch plants before July to keep especially low in habit. Excellent in containers. Most Asters will be troubled much less with powdery mildew when grown in a moist, rich soil. Very rich, dark purple flowers are produced above dark green foliage in early fall to midfall.
